Key Essential Functions & Areas of Responsibilities:
•    Lead and supervises the staff of the human resources department
•    Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws

Qualifications Required:
•    Minimum 15 years of progressive Human Resources Management level experience with at least ten (10) in a Human Resources supervisory role

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Research and qualify major and planned giving prospects who have the highest potential using the Foundation’s CRM database, which currently includes over 40,000 donors.
•    Initiate contact with potential leadership, major gift, and planned giving donors.
•    Manage and effectively steward a nationwide caseload of approximately 150 donors and prospects and move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure.
•    Collaborate with Director of Development to significantly expand the Foundation’s existing planned giving efforts.
•    Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle to build donor relationships and close gifts in the six-figure range.
•    Develop appropriate cultivation strategies by creating and executing individual goals and plans for each person in the caseload based on giving history and organizational knowledge of potential.
•    Work with program and communications departments to secure appropriate project information, including budgets, and create offers, proposals, and asks that will be used to secure gifts.
•    Create monthly reports as required by management that accurately reflect caseload activity and performance.
